Hanaro Taekwondo Academy is run by an instructor with over 30 years’ experience of teaching Taekwondo.
Based in a convenient location, less than a minute’s walk from Stockwell Underground station, Hanaro Taekwondo utilises the excellent facilities of Stockwell Community Centre.
Every single person who has been taught by Master Graham over the past three decades has passed their black belt grading first time. As these Gradings are conducted by Korean Grand Masters, this is an exceptional testament to the quality of training provided from day one.
Many instructors who now run their own clubs around the UK started learning the art of Taekwondo with Master Graham and progressed under his tuition. Many of these still attend Hanaro classes on occasion, and also send their own students to train under Master Graham in preparation for upcoming Gradings.
He holds a referee qualification for competitive Taekwondo, and also conducts gradings for clubs throughout the UK.
Master Graham is a member of the Board of Directors of the BTCB – the UK’s national governing body for Taekwondo. His input has an influence on the running of Taekwondo in the UK and his passion and dedication to the art and the sport means that he receives no financial gain for this or for running classes.
Diego - an expert 4th Dan who trained under Master Graham - is in charge of children’s lessons.
Diego is a gifted and friendly instructor who seeks to instil discipline into the class whilst ensuring that everyone has a fun and enjoyable lesson.
